Thanks, Chris.
That model is on my radar screen.
I'm toying with the notion of having a single big bore caliber-trying to simplify, or something like that. Since I have a Bowen modified Ruger Bisley in 45 Colt already, I am interested in trying an N frame in the same caliber. It won't be a carry piece-possibly a "house" gun. Now that Buffalo Bore makes a load around 1,000 fps, the 45 Colt seems like a good choice for all around use. The CAS loads are too light as are the traditional factory loads. On the other end, the hot and heavy hunting loads are too much for me for casual shooting.
I find that I shoot my N frame Model 58 with Winchester 175 gr bullets better than my Model 65 with just about any configuration of bullet caliber (38 or 357) or weight. The extra pound of weight makes for steadier shots, but I wouldn't want to carry the weight.
Choices, choices.
