After receiving two MECO holsters yesterday, i anxiously went home to try them out. I fount the Standard Holster to offer a perfect fit in most of my pants. The Double Wing, was not as comfortable. I figured i would sell it for someone else to try.

I posted this sale this morning.

About a half an hour after i posted this, my cell phone rang. It was Robert Meco. He asked what was wrong with the Double Wing Holster. I explained the fit was not for me but he quality was top notch. He asked if i wanted a refund. I was shocked. Why would he refund my money, it was not his fault. He said if you dont want your money back, send the holster back and i will make you a new holster to your liking. I was blown away. I cannot say enough about Robert and his products. I can honestly say he has earned my business for LIFE!

If anyone is interisted in this holster Mr. Meco will have it back in a couple of days.

Thank You Robert Meco for your dedication to your customers and product.

Excellent customer service. I accidentally sent him an extra $60.00 by mistake through PP and he immediately sent my money back. He also not only has top notch holsters, but his character is impeccable.

R. J. Hedley would be proud of Robert and the way he has "carried the torch."

Speaking of RJ Hedley, and not to diminish the nice review here on Meco, I have just had some of the finest hand made, custom stitched, leather holsters made specifically for me, and to my exact specifications. The "artist" who performed these master craftsmanships was Jim Surrusco, who took over for RJ, when he passed the torch over to Jim.

Jim - thank you so much! It is some of the finest work of hand crafted holsters I have ever seen in my life.

Jim at www.HiddenHolsters.net - I highly recommend him.
Call me with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your kind words and recommendation. I would like to make a clarification if Wolverine would not mind me jumping on his thread.
Robert Locke ( (Mecopocketholsters) and myself Jim Surrusco (HiddenHolsters) were both trained by RJ Hedley. And very fortunate to call him our friend and mentor. We are both carrying on what he taught us and finding our own way.
Before his untimely death he started teaching his craft to his daughter Lisa K Hedley (Hedleyholsters).
Lisa K is carrying the torch and Hedley name. She makes a very nice holster that her father would be very proud of.
Thanks Jim  8)

Indeed, my previous post should have mentioned and commended both Lisa and Jim as well as Robert for carrying on the legacy of the late R. J. Hedley, a man I was honored to call my friend.

It is amazing, and inspiring, to see the influence of the man I would sometimes refer to as "The Master" reflected in the work of all three of these exceptional artists in gunleather. Their work stands as a part of the legacy of that great man -- a true American hero who was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in the Korean War.

I don't know either of these gentlemen (Robert Locke or Jim Surrusco), but based on their postings in this thread, I would not hesitate to order from either. Sometimes you can sense honesty and integrity in people. I think I do here.

Thank you, guys.
