Any Glock collectors?
« on: October 15, 2020, 03:16:40 PM »
Don't know if anyone is interested, but a local gun shop has a 1st generation Glock 17.  I was issued to the Metropolitan Police department, District of Colombia (MPDC).

The store wants $875 and would ship to your FFL if you are not willing to drive to Deer Park and pick it up.  Felt solid and a clean gun for it's age and past life.

Let me know if interested and I will pass on his information.

Does a GEN 1 Glock command a premium or has the price of poker gone up on all Glocks, if you can find them?

Yes and Yes. IMHO

Not easy to find a Glock at MSRP these days.  Best place to look is the national chains who don't react to the ups and downs of the market as do the smaller gun shops and individuals.  Not uncommon to find them MSRP + $200 at gun shows and mom and pop stores.

Most folks I know want a 1st generation in their collection, they seem to be the hardest to find.  Their popularity really took off with the 2nd generation and those that followed.
