Just FYI on the subject of SEAL watches, They are not issued watches. In the 80's most wore Timex Ironman watches, today it is the G-Shock mostly. Good, Cheap, and built to take a beating. Suunto's are also popular. These are for day to day use of course, Special jobs may require special equipment, in that case the Navy would provide. The Sailors Pretty much buy what is for sale in the exchange. Like I said, unless things have changed drastically since I left, Watches are not issued anymore they are a personal item. Gps's, however are issued and are worn on the other arm. So if you see a guy that looks like he has two watches on, that is probabaly what is going on. Just a little trivia.
