marks on the barrel of a new Rohrbaugh

Is it to be expected to have friction marks on the barrel, just above and forward of the 9mm stamp, on a new Rohrbaugh?  I believe these pistols are test fired at the shop before shipping.
If someone has experience with this, please view the attached photo and let me know if this is to be expected on a brand new gun.

I don't see similar marks on mine which is not new at all; however, it is probably not abnormal due to individual slide to barrel fitting. Initially, I was concerned about some obvious loss of anodized finish on the frame rails after a few range trips but that turned out to be normal. Eric could answer your specific concern better than anyone else.

The gun is otherwise perfect and there is no reason to think the marks weren't done during test firing.
It is just something I didn't expect, as I have other guns that were test fired at the factory that don't have such markings/residue.

If you can not feel them with finger tip or nail may be OK
Different looking marks on my barrel can not be felt   ( more like polished area or shine )

I think lubricant from slide racking has just made it look worse than it is.
I'll disassemble and clean to see what is really there.
     Mr. Rohrbaugh said that the photos looked perfectly normal, so my mind is at ease.
.... Now to just tackle that disassemble I've been reading about!

The top of the barrel on my Colt Combat Commander looks the same, so not to worry. . . . . Semi-Automatics look like this when you use them.  ;-)

    I do not find the disassembly and reassembly a problem at all any more.I used to use a pair of small Channel Locs to get the spring back in,but I don't even do that anymore.With a little practice,and a pair of safety glasses on things are back in order in no time.
      What I struggle with are my 1911's.I hate putting them back together

You know how life can be - I have to schedule the gun cleaning because of all other responsibilities.
Crazy.  But when I get to it, I'll report on both topics, how the barrel cleaned up and the takedown.  My Sprinfield 45 micro goes easy enough, so I'm encouraged!
