From what I understand, Winchester Ranger "T" Series is the latest version of the original Black Talon design. I've read that there were some design improvements, and the black Lubalox was dropped.
PDX1 is actually more similar to the original Black Talon design than Ranger T - but PDX1 is a bonded bullet.
I am happy with the Ranger T performance in gelatin, and they cycle reliably in my R9.

I don't have to worry about having to unlock a cocked handgun, or deal with inconsistent DA/SA trigger pull, or grunchy "safe action" type triggers - the P7 is fantastic.
