For those not familiar with the DE .50AE, field stripping one is a simple process since the pistol has only six main parts, including the magazine. Also, because of its gas-operated system, rotating bolt, and overall weight, the DE has less felt recoil than might be imagined. The near "religious experience" I mentioned above comes from the feel of the pistol's rotating bolt together with its sound and muzzle flash when fired. As an indication of that, consider this photograph which was posted sometime earlier by another member of the Forum:
As the photograph shows, the DE can be mounted with a scope for hunting.
I have no personal connection with this sale, but I didn't want my previous comments about the awesome aspects of these "zombie blasters" to dampen anyone's interest.
