New gun
« on: September 18, 2012, 10:34:14 AM »
Wow these days there are more and more choices to pick from when it comes to compact guns in all calibers. I have been wanting another R9 for awhile now but with all the choices it's hard, the boberg, the Kimber solo, the xds 45. At work I carry a G21c so secondary gun or off-duty is important to be light and concealable. The bottom mag release for Qual runs makes it difficult but believe I can get it done. I carry my 5 shot SW on a regular bases or sometimes my seecamp .32.

I just have to take my head out of the sand and decide, if the kids were not in college maybe be able to afford more but have to wait awhile on that.

Been there and done that! Hang in there. As my sainted mother used to say, "This too shall pass."   ;D

And Gary, if you are diligent in your search you will be rewarded.  Just recently, new member Willy, picked up a like new R9 with a rig for $700- the price of a Seecamp 380 used!

Good Luck
