I have never used Gunbroker. I started to apply but it seems like a hassle to me. I know forum members use it. Have you had any problems?

I've used Gunbroker several times over the years and never had a problem.  Like any forum, I read the seller's feedback, take a look at their recent activity, see if they have sold other items for about the same dollar amount, etc.

I have made ove 60 "buys' on GB without any trouble.  You must watch who you are buying from and ask questions.  The buyer is still vulnerable but I have made several "friends" on the site with multiple buys.

Tim.  Welcome to the Forum.  I, too, have used GunBroker and like you, do the homework before bidding; always had good transactions.  Again welcome; do join in.

I also have multiple buys from GB with no problems, but it is "Buyer Beware" just as it is on any such site.

Although I have had only a few transactions through Gunbroker, each one has been free of problems. The important thing, as noted above, is just to exercise the due diligence of investigating the seller's background and reputation.
