I'll get some pics posted this evening. I have a very nice 1952 M1 Garand too, but it's been restored with new wood and refinish wheras the Carbine is all original. I don't yet have a 1903, but I do plan to add one to the collection at some point. You make some excellent points on these war rifles, that a person must know what they are looking at before shelling out the big $$$. I'm not that smart on them yet, but I have a good friend who is an avid collector and I typically consult him on the old stuff. Thanks for sharing all the info on the 1903.
