Brought home my first R9 this afternoon.  Been considering it for a long time, and took my MK9 to the range before I stopped at the gunshop to see if I could still handle the recoil.
After getting home and unpacking it, I was thrilled to find that a Don Hume JIT slide #59 for a Makarov fits perfectly.  Looks like it was made for it.  I'm a retired LEO, and have slowly divested myself of the tactical stuff, and gone to concealed carry.  Finished my annual qualification for H.R. 218 yesterday.

 Ollie, welcome to the group and congrats on the new pup.
You made a good choice for concealed carry, I love my pup for pocket carry, but have an OWB holster comming any day just to have options  ;D.

Welcome Ollie from southwest Florida.

Quiet one:

    We live in SE Mo on the Mississippi, but we visit Sarasota as often as we can.  First stop is always the gunshop/range North of Sarasota near the airport, and then the Bullethole on Main Street.

Well, I guess there's no doubt that you're a Genuine Enthusiast.  :)

Actually, I'm about an hour south of Sarasota in Naples.  Both are very nice places.
