As far as I know, Ron's deal may be the best one yet reported for an early R9 with CF grips.

There are few things easier in life than giving unsolicited advice to another man on how to spend and manage his money. However, I suppose that if enough profit could be realized, it might be worth selling "R8xx" and then using the funds to order an individualized model from the factory.

That, of course, is from a "true believer" who considers his "Farmingdale" R9 No. 132 (no "R" prefix) to be his most prized firearm.

Don't beat yourself up.  I considered it.  Pondered it.  Thought about it.  Then they were gone.  My want factor didn't kick in soon enough.

Then it's official; $650 for an early gun with CF grips is best deal recorded on this forum. Only thing better would be a one tone Farmingdale gun which is the holy grail of Rohrbaugh.
