As a possibility for getting a pair of CF grips, I would place a WTB notice on the classified section of the Forum and bring it back to the top periodically. You never know when a pair might show up.
Another suggestion would be to watch Gunbroker.com for one of the R9s with CF grips to be offered, purchase it, and then either keep it or "flip" it with a pair of G10 or aluminum grips from the Rohrbaugh Store.
Finally, you might want to check out some of the aluminum grips now offered by Rohrbaugh on the company's web site. I find myself using aluminum grips on my R9 more often lately than either the black or blue CFs. (Did I mention that I'm a confirmed "grip junkie"?
