Alternative carry method
« on: July 30, 2007, 09:50:27 PM »
I would like to give a recommendation for the 5.11 Holster shirt.  For those of you that have the need to carry on a daily basis with "professional attire," this may be a good option to consider.  My first preference for carry is the Zulu-2 Graham holster that can be placed in a pocket or on the belt.  When neither of these are a good option (due to dress pants and a button down shirt) my next best option is the shirt.  It is a very comfortable mode for carrying and becomes virtually unnoticeable within a hour or two of wearing.  I realize that there is always a discussion of accesibility, but having the ability to carry when no other common method is apparent, is beneficial.  I had a person recommend this product to me a couple months ago and was personally skeptical at first.  I ordered one and was pleased with the result.  I hope that some of you will at least consider this product if you see this as a possible need.  Good luck in finding your preferred method of carry.

I guess I am a little late to comment on this, but I too like the 5.11 holster shirt.  It is the best of the holster shirts out there that I have tried.  That said, its not fast -- but it is comfortable and well concealed.

5.11 is coming out with a new casual shirt to wear over the holster shirt with break-away snaps that look like buttons.  That should be very cool!
