It seems many of the custom holster makers are VERY far behind. I got my R9s last night and was a bit disappointed in that it is actually larger than I thought, not much smaller, if any, than my Kahr PM9. It does seem a hair lighter. I will being shooting it this weekend. I am thinking at this point that I will go with a Nemesis for a while. I am a big guy and can hide a little extra width from that holster pretty well. And I like the fact that it really breaks the outline. Range report soon...sigme

I put the R9 side by side with the PM9 and made my conclusion.Lighter and shorter in slide length but not significantly shorter in grip length. I guess with the slide release etc on the PM9 it is somewhat thinner but just not as much as expected. Believe me, I looked at the mouse gun site way too much! Didn't mean to offend just IMHO. I fired it a few rounds tonight as it was getting dark after dove hunting and WWB has a bit of muzzle flash from the R9S barrell, surprised me. I am going out again on Sat to do more shooting. Recoil IS snappy....but certainly not uncontrollable.

Do you use the suggested K5 holster? Does the thumb push cant the gun in the pocket and cause undo printing?  I like the thin Kydex idea...agreed on the leather situation.

True indeed but reasonable minds also share a lot of good information. I appreciate the input. Others hard won knowledge always helps in decision-making. One more question....I like the Nemesis because the pistol slides out easily. The Nemesis in my mind is more of a
"cover" than a true holster. MOST Kydex holsters I have dealt with required a slight tug to free the gun from the tight fit, not a problem in an outside holster and a full size gun. With nothing to anchor the pocket holster, is the K5 difficult to clear the gun inside the pocket?  I live in Texas and 11 months a year it is almost impossible wear a covering garment so I opt for pocket carry, generally front pocket in dress slacks for business. Most of my off time pants have big and a bunch of pockets, no problem!
