Thought I would let you all know that I did get a chance to speak with Carl Rohrbaugh. I explained the problems I was having and he said to send it back and he would get it up and running as it should. I have cofidence that it will be returned functioning as it was meant to. Somebody said it before but it is pretty slick to be able to talk to the top dog. Pretty rare in todays business climate. He seemed to be a very nice guy that was really concerned about the quality of his product. The gun arrived there this AM and I will give range report when it returnes.

  I had a nice talk with Karl a few days ago about a problem with my R9S Stealth.  I know what you mean about talking to the top dog. Nothing worse that getting runaround on phone mail and never getting a return call. I left a message with Rohrbaugh answering maching and with in several hours to my supprise Karl was calling me back and resolved the problem with sending it back.

I did have to send it back several weeks ago. Shipped it on a Tuesday and got it back the following Tuesday. It would have been quicker had I shipped it priority. Was I ever lost without it. A great service department is worth the price of the pup.

Yes, I was getting misfires often 1 or 2 per mag, sometimes none. Intermittent problem with all types of ammo I tried.

Karl asked me if I was pressing the trigger for slow aimed fire. After thinking about it I was infact doing this because I was testing for accuracy and pattern at 15 and 25 yards. I was pressing the trigger just short of the hammer drop as I do with a DA revolver, hesitate then finish the press for a very accurate shot.  Well this is in fact when I would get the misfires. A 2nd quick pull of the trigger and it would fire every time.

Karl advised this was designed as a defensive weapon and slow fire like this can cause misfires. Makes total sense to me and I have not had a problem when I fire as you would for a defensive situation.

The one thing I did find out, it is a heck of a tack driver if you do take your time pressing the trigger. I think the best thing I have discovered after approximately 200 rounds is I have not had any type of FTF or FTE malfunctions with at least 5 different types of rounds I have run through it.
