Range trip
« on: June 03, 2004, 09:15:58 PM »
I got to hit the range again today with mt R9s,  60rds of cci blazer and 25rds of remington gshp's 124g.

Funtion was flawless and the gshp's will be my carry ammo for now, shoots to poa and had a good stout feeling to it.

I like everything about this little gun.

How did the gun do with the CCI Blazers? I've never had any luck with them. In fact, my experience has been so bad, that I avoid them.

George,  They funtioned perfect. Accuracy was good. I was getting 3-4" groups @ 15ft, The goldensaber's were tighter about 2-3" groups.
I only shot 10 mags full od blazer's, But there were no problems.

I have never really used them either, but I got a case of them (1000 rds) for $50.00 a while back and have no complaints.

The quality is good although accuracy is not as tight as other target ammo I use.

I recently shot for comparision some  brown box military 115g and winchester white box ball in my glock 26, The blazer was giving me 4-5" groups while the other stuff was consistantly 2-3" @ 20ft.

Good to see someone else also finds Golden Sabers shoot tight ... they are my carry ammo for present in R9S.

The Golden Sabers also impressed me.  They are the current load in my R9s.
