The forum's impromptu donations to help out an overseas Marine, Daniel Shaw, has been discussed and recognized in Daniel's excellent podcast -- Gunfighter Cast.

Its touching and heartfelt and worth a listen. You can listen on-line without downloading to an ipod/mp3 player.
The relevant part is during an interview with George Hill, and is about 30 minutes into the show. The whole show is worth listening to -- as are all Daniel's podcasts. George is a friend of mine too, and an interesting guy with some great info.
