Has anyone had any experience with this gun ?  It comes in either SA/DA or a police version of DA only.

That is the next gun I want!!

I was at a gun show last weekend and was checking out the Walther PPS and was not really impressed (just my opinion!!), but when I made my way to the H&K display and picked up the P2000sk 9x19..... WOW!!

A little larger than the R9, but it felt about as thin and carries 10+1 and can run +p. I am torn between getting the 9mm or the 357sig. Both seem pretty good, but I've never had a 357sig and from what I've read, it seems like a pretty decent SD round.

NRA, GOA, SAF, JFPO

The P2000sk is very impressive as are many H&Ks. As far as
The 9mm. vs. .357 sig comparison that is somewhat of a
frustrating issue. On one hand the .357 sig is ballistically
superior and also very accurate. In fact, several years ago
I asked a Texas State Highway Patrolman  what they were
carrying and he said that they had switched from the .40
caliber Sig 229 to the .357 sig caliber and that the target
groups had tightened considerably in their range qualifica-
tions.
The ammunition comparison between 9 mm. and 357 sig may
take on a different light in a national crisis situation. At this
time, in my opinion, the 9mm. is much more available and
considerably cheaper than the .357 sig ammo.
In a perfect situation I would buy that gun in both calibers,
but if push came to shove I would go for the 9mm.
