Pictures can be deceiving depending on the angle the lighting the camera etc. Are those original equipment?

No, it was explained to me in another thread that they were made by Curt, a forum member.  I was informed he no longer makes them.

They look pretty nice, not as nice as the blue of course, but they aint bad. Basically same dimensions, meaning width of grip as the originals?

Me, too, but there are a fair amount of blue lovers here. I suspect that if the blue CFs were still being made the bloom would be off the blossom.

I'm one of the one's that love the blues.  Being rare sure does help, however, I would still prefer the blue over the black even if the rare designation didn't exist.

The grips in question were only Sold by Curt, he did not make them.
  The difference between these grips and the factory Carbon Fiber grips is these are cast in a mold withe the Carbon Fiber laid into a resin , the factory grips were machined from a sheet of Carbon Fiber.
