From what I've noticed, very few dealers are actually aware of the Rohrbaugh. Once the gun rags publish reviews, I think the gun will become far, far more popular.

I was at the Suncoast Gun Show in Pinellas Park this weekend.  I felt confident I would not see an R-9, but I was amazed that a lot of dealers had no idea what I was talking about when I asked.

They have a lot of catching up to do!

As soon as I get mine, I am doing a review for the magazine that I write for -- Concealed Carry Magazine.  You can check them out at www.concealedcarrymag.com.

Yeah, I am a guest writer -- not on the staff -- but I have two more articles in the pipeline.

It is expensive, but they are nice people who are really trying to produce a different kind of magazine.  Its a labor of love, but I am sure there are a lot of start-up costs to be recouped.

Tim has told me that they hope to go to 10-12 issues a year soon.

Do you have the issue with my article on pocket carry?

Duane - if you do an article on R9S for CC mag .. do let me know if you want any extra info from what I and others have already checked out.  Happy to help if needed.

I ordered a trial/free issue and hope to subscribe.

Gun magazines have really gone to crap the last few year's, I just don't find any usefull or real currect information.

I'm just starting to see kel-tec p3at articles...what's it been out a year???

The only magazine I think if fairly consistantly usefull and good reading is combat handguns.
