An instructor at my range suggested that I “ride the slide” with my left thumb on some of my small pistols. I like the stability of the grip and it works on the Sig 365. I tried it on my Ed Brown Special Forces .45 and the gun really did not like it...failed to feed the last round in the mag and would not lock back, but worked fine with my old grip. My R9 is hors de combat at the moment but with the tight tolerances and the dependency on slide timing, I would worry that even slight interference with the slide would cause problems. Anyone here use that grip?
