I have been lurking around the Colt Forum lately. The Collectors are all up in arms about this Python and the non-original box. I have been getting a laugh out of it.
I wonder how high it will go.

I bet the last bidder is freaking since he found out that the box, paperwork and target are not original to this gun. Only the gun is real. . . . or is it?
Oh well. . . . Cough up the 20 Gees please! Ha Ha haaaaa.........................

The "Collectors" over at Colt Forum are really pissed about this guy. He sells a lot of reproduction boxes and paper work at high prices.
I have been told he gets the stuff from Colt but I do not know.

Wow, 20 grand, what I could do with that. I bet that bidder is ticked.

Time will tell. We should most likely be watching for a relisting after this one is done. . . . . .
. . . . . Stating something like: "Now with a lower starting price!"

The gentleman that had owned the gun for many years and just recently sold it confirms that it never came with a box or papers.
He also says that al the hub bub is nothing as $25k is a very realistic price and maybe even $30K would not be out of the question

Incredible numbers for a Python. . . . . . . . and seemingly legitimate too . . . . . . Wow
. . . . . More power to them if they can command, and get, those sort of dollars for them.
