I have been on the local Friends of NRA Committee a long time and Chairman for the last 5 years.  I have picked up several of the NRA guns as a result and will buy them if they are not too "glitzy" which this one is not.  They sell for just a little more than the standard pistols.(which is what they are)

I made what I consider a good offer on this pistol and was turned down.  He was told at the time he won it that the value was $2500 and his $1500 reserve is as low as he will go.

I wish him good luck with his auction.

 JMO, Something is worth what people are willing to pay for it, not what they think it is worth.

This "collectible" may have more potential buyer appeal if it were unfired.

Well he knew what he was doing and got his price.  I am happy for him.

This was his third or fourth time listing it on Gunbroker.  Perhaps this thread on the forum helped him out in some way.
