FS: ONE Chantilly / One KC Nickel
« on: December 21, 2009, 12:42:28 PM »
OK peeps,

I have too many P7s and I figured I'd post them on a few boards before throwing them to the wolves at GB or other auction boards.

M8 #1 is SPF

M8 #2 is an "IE date coded Chantilly" M8 in VG condition with all the associated goodies as well. It has some VERY slight rubbing on the high spots of the slide near the muzzle. I would highly doubt they would show up in a pic.
Price: 1250.00

M8 KC Factory Nickel with no box or papers or tools but has both mags. Bought it locally from a guy who said he had the box and stuff but hasn't called in a year now. So if you are looking for a nickel that doesn't break the bank at over 2K here's your chance. asking 1850 shipped. Gun has been fired and has a few very slight imperfections that are only noticable when "held" and scrutinized.

In both cases: buyer pays for shipping. FTF sales with proper ID and/or CC permit in central Florida are welcomed.

I might consider a trade for an R9 Stealth on either pistol but all said, my Class III funds are dwindling and that is the other reason for the sale.

This is a "private individual sale", ensure your FFLs will except inbound from such.

Thanks guys,

P7Enigma,  I have a P7M8 on my list of guns I want to acquire and your prices look real good, but times are tough.

I haven't heard of "Chantilly" before, what is that?

Sorry & thanks,

Not to interfere but it is Chantilly, Va., and a prized version of the P7M8.

The same as a Clackamas Kimber, that is were Kimber started out, in Clackamas Oregon, now they are in  Yonkers, NY., or a Farmingdale Rohrbaugh.
HK Chantilly is an import stamp.

German export law requires that “Made in West Germany” or “Made in W. Germany” or “Made in Germany” appear on the firearm. This usually appears on the magazine as well and reads:

Made in W. Germany
HK Inc.
Trussville, AL or Columbus, GA
Older models may say Sterling, Chantilly or Arlington, VA or indicate SACO as the importer. Any other product not marked as above is not an official HK product and is not covered by HKI's warranty.

In addition to the info posted above...the Chantilly imports are considered by most P7 enthusists to be made a little better than the latter imports. Tool steel was thought to be better and the machining of a higher quality.

UPDATE: The "II" P7 is SPF

KC NICKEL added to the FS post.

See original post.....

....and here is you one of the "CLACKYs"!
