Thanks for posting...basically a good review.  After market grips would likely have ended the "slippery" complaint.

Good unbiased veiw.  But as Backup said he kind of blew it on the slippery issue, which is an easy fix.

As far as the grip goes
I have skinny long fingers and do not have to readjust after each round
I also live in florida where there is usually 100% humidity and still don't have a problem with the factory smooth grips

Lots of negative comments afterwards. People just don't get it. I dare say most of the detractors have never even seen, let alone held a R9. I left a positive comment and hope the detractors think twice about what they wrote previously.

I read your comment over there. Well said!

Some of those negative comments to which you responded are obviously based on profound ignorance or simple envy. Some others appear to be from the "Wannabe Kommando" crowd who seem to show up on nearly every gun forum out there.
