WTT Farmingdale R9S(silver frame) for Battle Rifle
« on: June 13, 2009, 09:04:55 AM »
I am in need of a battle rifle of a caliber larger than my AR or AK.  I am thinking of trading a little used Farmingdale R9S (Blue Carbon Grips & Silver Frame) that has lived in my safe for the past few years (Ser# 3XX).  It’s in beautiful condition in original box with papers, etc.  Three magazines included along with extra recoil springs & other spare parts.      Included  are three of the best pocket holsters in new condition:

1 Milt Sparks PCH in black elephant
1 Ron Graham Maverick in brown ostrich
1 Ron Graham Kentucky in brown ostrich

I’m starting on this board because I have been here since this board’s inception and know the great appreciation folks here have for this very special pistol. If anyone has an interest please let me know.

Thank you

If you are referring to a 7.62, one contender is the DPMS LR-308.  I have a pair, one 24" and one 18" and am very pleased.  The best source I found is rguns.net (just a customer, and note the .net) and I paid less than $1K for them within the last 6 months.  I do not suggest the 24" if you intend to carry it, or cannot use a bipod.  They are better than 1moa. with Federal Gold Medal Match 168g BTHP.
