I just reexamined the top photo in this thread -- the one with the VZ grips. I hasten to note that the white mark near the muzzle on the anodized frame is not a scratch but an errant hair from the tanned hide used as a background. I just pulled the R9 from my pocket and examined it closely to make sure of that.
