Clarman, do you happen to know what the MSRP on the SF was? Can you buy the limited editions for less than that when they are released. I know I cannot, I am sure there are a few on the forum who may be able to do so. That gun got the Wilson treatment I believe, which means it was probably assembled twice, (man hours) was shipped back and forth, some of the interior was polished up a bit adding a few more man hours. A couple of more hours into a bit of tuning according to the website, then the marketing. I am pretty sure the brothers are not increasing their margin a great deal by producing these unique models. Maybe keeping interest up a bit and having a little fun. I am not sure why silly questions are asked about prices on some of these models when people might be just trying to get their dollars back for a pricier weapon. No it is not going to take the bad guy out at 100 yards but it still cost several hundred more than an R9 when new and there are few around
. Yours even had John's very fine extended mag grips. Its like saying you should sell a Wilson for a Keltec price. Stretching the point of course, I think I will go step outside to listen to and smell the ocean for a while, it tends to clear my head.
Nice piece for a great price. Congrats to both.
