Packmyr grips!
« on: January 01, 2012, 02:14:55 AM »
I was a little dissappointed after shooting my little work of art with the lack of texture on the front strap, I am a big 1911 guy and have grown very accustomed to the 30 lpi on the front strapping. I was loooking into ordering VZ grips but decided to pick up Packmyer's newest model of grip glove made out of their decelerator material, it has had ALL the difference in the world, best $11.00 upgrade I think I have ever made. I may still order the VZ's but this makes hanging on with my large hands MUCH easier and controllable...... It's the one for the Micro guns I guess, tiny glove, Huge difference!

Is that grip Pachmayr #4? I have #5 and it is a bit too large for the R9. The decelerator material is not shown on their website for the slip on pistol grip or at least I couldn't find it.

I tried to down load a catalog from pachmayr and couldn't.The tactical grip gloves look interesting. There is an ad in this months American Hanndgunner (March/April) page 79. They list them for Kel Tec P3AT and Ruger LC9 so they should fit the R9.

Thanks Jack. I went to the site yesterday to check these out, but was unsure of which size I needed.
