Revolvers are great and almost 100 % reliable, but you cant beat a semi-auto.

I'll second that.
There are some applications were an automatic can't compete with a revolver but for CC I prefer the autos.

Roy and Dale and Gene and Frog and it's round-up time in Texas. Hoppy and Topper are right up there in cowboy heaven, too. Happy trails to all you buckaroos.

When I started in LE in the 80's we carried revolvers.  I still love the revolvers.  I usually carry a S&W 340PD in the pocket.  I also carry a S&W 66-2 on hip.  I just purchased a Rohrbaugh R9 and I am looking forward to switching over.

RB.  Enjoy the switch.  I still carry a .38 snub nose every now and then.  Sometimes, have been known to carry the .454 Alaskan, 2" barrel, on the hip, so I understand about liking revolvers.  Again, enjoy the R9.

I had a Talo limited edition 340SS it had a stainless cylinder rather than the titanium. I really liked the gun but loaded with full power 357s it kicked like a mule.

After about 20rds of full .357 loads in the 340PD it is time to go to .38's.

I would think after two rounds, it's about time for a switch.  :D

Very nice indeed, I have always been a Colt and S&W fan in the small revolvers, but that is the nicest Ruger I have seen.   :D
