Thanks... I saw it at the Gunstore for a minute. I cant take it home yet, still waiting for my revised FID Card. They appear to be black CF grips. It felt solid for a small pistol. Nice workmanship. I like the size for sure. Made the PPS feel big.

I cant wait to get my hand on these... Unfortunately Its NJ so this paperwork could take weeks.

Ill keep ya posted.

Our fellow Forum member, ACP, has posted some memorable essays on the "joys" of attempting to exercise Second Amendment rights when he lived in New Jersey and before he relocated to Vermont.  God speed to you in cutting through all that paperwork!

NJ is a tough state.  Hope your time passes quickly, thewayofthegun, although I know it will seem like ages.  You will enjoy it all the more when the paper work is complete.

Waiting is horrible.

The R9 is solid. I know as I get older I still want to carry a gun everyday, but I don't feel the need to carry a Desert Eagle if you know what I mean. So these newer generation small pistols are ideal. The size allows ease of carry and a great piece of mind.

Soon you will hold you R9 in your own hands in your own home.
