Sear Trigger Bar Coming Loose
« on: February 22, 2009, 12:05:53 AM »
Recently, my Sear Trigger Bar (at the rear) is slipping underneath the hammer when I pull the trigger and I am not able to fire the pistol.  Any thoughts?  I have taken the right grips off and made sure the screws are tight.  The sear trigger bar spring is intact. Anyone else experience this?  Thanks for your thoughts.

My thought is that is a factory issue started by a phone call.

If I remember correctly this can be caused by the hammer going just a hair to far forward.  If you pulled the hammer back just slightly it would re catch.  Of course that is hard to do with the slide on.   :-/

Andyzx6r,  What tracker said.  Could be the sear bar the spring or the hammer.  I'm sure Rohrbaugh will fix it.  Dan
