I have been lurking on the forum for about a month, having bought an R9s stealth, and attempting to learn more about it.
This pistol has not left my pocket since I purchased it! I've been very busy with work, and have only been able fire about 50 rounds of Speer Lawman 115gr through it, and the gun performed flawlessly, with what I thought was excellent accuracy. I was also surprised by how comfortable it was to shoot, although I admit that I was expecting a LOT of recoil, so that may just be a matter of expectations.
Right now, I'm looking for a better pocket holster. The only one my dealer had was a DeSantis and I'm not very happy with it. The holster does just an ok job of disguising the print, is bulky, and does not do a very good job of remaining in my pocket when drawing the gun.
I've carried a number of other pistols during my life, from full size 1911's to Browning .25's. Invariably, I start leaving the larger framed guns in my truck due to concealment and comfort issues, and I have always been concerned over the reliability and stopping power of the smaller pocket guns. This is the first pistol that has combined reliability and stopping power in a size that is comfortable for me to carry, and I just love the quality of it's construction!
I know this is old news to all of you. I just wish I had known about this gun earlier. I could have saved a LOT of money...
