Warranty

For you lawyers out there:

The warranty card I received with my R9S Elite states that I must fill it out and return it to Rohrbaugh within 15 days to validate the warranty.

It is my understanding that consumers in the U.S. do not have to fill out warranty cards for any item (including firearms) due to marketing abuses in the past, although I cannoc cite the federal code.

I believe that all I have to do is retain proof of purchase to insure the warranty will be honored if there is a dispute.  Right or wrong?

I think you are correct because Rohrbaugh did not
have a record of one R9 but honored the warranty.
Other companies might not be so accommodating as
they are; however, I made certain that their records
are complete so that there would no confusion in the
future.

When I bought my first pup-there was not a card even included..And yes it was new..

I have no problem that the R bros will repair any pup,as long as it was not totally abused somehow!! So no worries there.. ;)
