Recoil spring?

Anyone tested the 100rd. recoil spring rule? I was just wondering how many rounds people have gone until they noticed ejection or feed problems due to recoil spring failure?

I've gone 300 rds on one before with no problems, but I try to stick to the 100-150 rule as much as possible though. I have NEVER had a problem of any knid with either of my Pups.
