I've been reading with more than a little envy all of these recent posts about the new "Pups" with pedigrees and papers. Then it occurred to me that, given its serial number of "132" with no "R" prefix, my own hard-working little "Pup" has a pretty good "pedigree" (as in "pioneer") of its own. And about five minutes ago it occurred to me to pull "No. 132" out of my pocket, place it on some appropriate "paper," and take its photograph in the middle of a working day.
So here it is, a "Pup" which has been on duty since May 2004 and works every day, its pedigree long since earned and shown here appropriately papered.
