I talked to factory and I think Wldavis has the earlier gun and mine was supposed to have an "R" prefix. It is still at FFL, MD. 7 day waiting period, so I will double check for the R but I know its not there. Mr. Davis I got your e-mail and I will call you tonite after I recheck my gun per factory request. If we have same S# it looks like its on me to send mine in for R prefix installation, more to come........

As you were! Sorry I spaced, my gun does have the "R" prefix. Rechecked it and it's there( I would have sworn it wasn't) Guess I'm just gettin old.

Sorry, Newt. I kind of thought it would be. With the required record keeping, I don't see how two guns with the same SN could get out of the factory...
