New R9 owner

Hey guys!  I am a brand new R9 owner and was wonder something.  Is it O.K. to dry fire these pistols?  I have an XD that requires you to dry fire it to take apart.  Any opinions?

Long story short----NO.

Get a 9mm snap cap.  They can be had very cheap.
