what lube/grease on the Robar???
« on: February 15, 2010, 11:23:44 AM »
I was lucky enough to trade into a R9 Robar, and was told it needed little if any lube because of the np3 coating.   I would sure appreciate opinions on this before my first range session this week!

Even on a Robar lubrication won't hurt and might help. How can you go wrong?

I agree.  Don't see how it could hurt a thing.  Just lightly, of course.

In my philosophy, there is no firearm, regardless of finish, which cannot benefit from the occasional application of Ballistol:

Ballistol is good stuff.  I highly recommend it as well.

Ballistol always keeps my 1919a4 buzzing along.  I'll be happy to share a little with the R9  !!
