R9 serial numbers 1xxx vs 5xxx
« on: April 30, 2011, 12:44:30 PM »
I've read on the site where the Non-R units are premium and highly desired as are the blue grips.

Does the Serial Number of the R9 effect the value in any way?  For Example... would a R1XXX be any more desirable or valuable than a R5XXX ?

I think unless the serial number is under 150 and and on a Farmingdale marked gun the number would mean very little.
Actually I would prefer the higher (newer) model that has all the latest tweaks, updates etc.
just my feelings on it.

I am the proud owner of one of those "under 150 Farmingdales," which I carry every day, but I nonetheless endorse the remarks of our distinguished colleague, the transplanted "Yankee."  8)

I am also the proud owner of one of the under 150 Farmingdales.  I also agree with John (yankee2500) on the newer models with the updates.  It's just all about what you want.
