Pictures from Santa's Workshop
« on: December 21, 2009, 10:36:14 PM »
Here are a few pics that Eric sent of the shop this weekend -- as a bunch of R-9s get ready for shipment.  A few more people will get their Christmas presents!

To make it interesting, Eric and the crew had to get to the shop during the blizzard of '09!

R-9s getting cleaned up and ready to go!

Boxed up in the safe, ready to go out on Monday!

Eric had to walk to the shop in the snow, uphill, BOTH WAYS!  ;D

Thanks for posting those photos, Duane!

When I zoom in on those boxes stored in the safe, it looks like at least two of them are addressed to someone named "Corey." (Of course, I could be mistaken.)  ;)

Having lived for 50 + years south of Buffalo, NY, thats just a regular overnight snow fall. They average 100" per year.  ;D
But down here in NC 4" cripples the entire state, there is no milk, water or bread in any of the grocery stores if they just call for snow.  :o
What a dirrerence 600 mi. makes.

John,

I think given the few snow falls in the lower altitudes of N.C. that sounds like the better way to go. Asheville and Blowing Rock might be a different set of rules.

We had 3" of snow and sleet about 45 minutes south of John this week and stopped most everything for a day.

We even had some of that awfully rare white stuff here in East Texas Christmas Eve.
It did not stick though.

Now in Kanas City, Mo. with 10" of snow and still snowing.  They, however, know how to deal with it here.
