A story mainstream media probably won't report.
« on: September 03, 2009, 10:40:45 AM »
Five will get you ten that mainstream media will elect not to report this story just received from Rangemaster in Memphis:

[size=10]A man who was being robbed near his south Nashville home at gunpoint drew his own gun and shot the teenage perpetrator. Metro police said Paul Campbell, 60, was sitting in his car in the driveway of his Lindy Murff Court home with a friend when two people approached. The teenager, armed with a handgun, demanded money while 19-year-old Kevin Negron stood by with a shotgun, the man told police.

Campbell pulled his .38-caliber revolver and shot the teen in the chest. He is in stable condition and will be charged with aggravated robbery when he's discharged from the hospital, police said. Negron was charged with two counts of attempted aggravated robbery.

Campbell has a carry permit for his handgun.

Yes, it is tragic to see a teenager ruin his or her life before it really begins. One of the most brutal and sadistic crimes I ever prosecuted involved a defendant barely old enough to be tried as an adult.

No don't think we will see this one.  Hopefully this kid learned a lesson and will fly right.
