Some Good News from Rangemaster in Memphis
« on: August 25, 2009, 05:13:41 PM »
This newsletter just in from Rangemaster in Memphis indicates some improvement in ammunition supplies:

The supply pipeline was pretty well emptied by the post-election panic buying frenzy, but things are starting to normalize now. We now have carry/defensive ammunition in all the main calibers, plus other items that have been hard to get. The prices are starting to come down a bit, as well, and we pass the lower costs on to you. Some samples:

AR-15 magazines- high quality 30 round mag's with black Teflon finish, orange anti-tilt followers, and chrome springs. Excellent quality. $19.95 each. Approx 30 on hand.

Holsters- good selection of concealment holsters from Galco, FIST, and others, including very good IWB designs for most serious pistol models.

T-shirts, women's casual shirts, visors, ball caps, all with Rangemaster logo. Many styles and colors to choose from.

Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun; 8 shot magazine; ghost ring sights; SureFire fore-end light; side saddle; two stocks, a traditional and a straight stock with pistol grip; all for $700.00. The SureFire fore-end alone costs almost $300.

Carry/Defensive ammunition, including:

9mm- CorBon 115 gr +P jacketed hollow point; 115 gr Speer Gold Dot, regular and +P+; 147 grain Federal Tactical Bonded.

.38 Special- Winchester 158 grain lead hollow point; CorBon 110 grain DPX; Hornady 110 grain Critical Defense (new); Federal 125 grain Nyclad.

.40 Auto- 180 grain Speer Gold Dot; 180 grain Federal High Shok; Hornady 180 grain TAP-CQ; Remington 180 grain Golden Saber; CorBon 140 grain DPX.

.45 Auto- Winchester Ranger 230 grain jacketed hollow point (hard to get); 185 grain Speer Gold Dot; CorBon 160 grain DPX.

.44 Special- CorBon 200 grain DPX; Federal 200 grain lead hollow point; Hornady 180 grain XTP.

Thanks for this, Richard. There still seems to be a shortage
of .380.
