I purchased this knife NIB from a forum member. While it is a very, very nice knife, it is just a bit bigger/thicker/heavier than what I had in mind for carry in dress pants. So, I will pass it along to another forum member at an even better price.

The assisted opening is very cool -- much like a Kershaw Speed Safe, but with the thumb studs in a better position. One cool feature of this knife is that the assisted opener spring can be removed so the knife operates manually, then later replaced! This could solve potential legal problems when travelling to other jurisdictions, etc.
All Benchmade's knives are eligible for their LifeSharp service too -- which is pretty cool.
