I just got my Talon II Lightweight Bobtail back from Surgery at NHC after an unfortunate meeting of my Brother, The Talon II, and Bad Ammo. I have not had a chance to fire it yet but from all appearances it looks good.
This gun is a little unusual in that we had some upgrades done that NHC just started doing. One thing we did was replace the ramped Stainless Steel barrel with a Carbon Steel rampless Barrel. They were able to do this by installing a Steel Ramp in the Alloy frame of the Talon. This will give me a few benefits such as:
1. Increased accuracy due to the Harder and smoother steel
2. Increased Barrel Life
3. The ability to more reliably feed differant types and manufacturers Ammo
Plus I got the reliability package done and a refinishing job as well
The gun feels really good, can't wait until I get back out on the Range in a few days.
Also in case you are wondering what is next to it, that is one of my
William-Henry knives. I Like to think quality shows and these two really go together well. Both are extremely Sharp, Deadly, and the top of their field.
