Cased Pair of Historic Browning 1911s
« on: January 16, 2011, 02:59:22 PM »
In case the Colt 1911 isn't for you, may want to look at these.  57 bids so far and by the same seller as the Colt.

The Anniversary Colt 1911 that is being displayed at the Shot show is already being sold and is sitting at over $82,000 w/ 4 days to go on the bidding. So, these pistols are a bargain !!

My wife asked me yesterday if I was going to buy one of the Anniversary 1911's .  I told her I was going to, just had to check out everyone's offerings. I do not want a gaudy "Safe Queen" I shoot what I buy.  Nighthawk is telling me they will cut me a good deal if I want to buy their's since I own a few of their models now. Have not seen many of the Anniversary Models from other makers though.  I do know I am not spending 10K on one !
