I just wanted to mention again the Hogue auction where they sell wood grips that are cosmetic seconds, just in case someone has not heard about the wonderful bargains available.

You have to look long and hard to find a blemish.

It's worth a trip to http://www.hogueauction.com/.

My latest purchase was Goncalo Alves Checkered for a stainless steel Kimber.

I bought this belt holster to carry my Kimber.  I already have a couple of 55BN holsters from Milt Sparks.  This 60TK rides quite high.  It's not for everybody, but it seems worth trying, especially since the belt slots are so close to the muzzle.  It looks like it might be a step closer toward easily hiding a 1911 pistol.

I'm hoping the shirt can be tucked in, and then wear a sweater or light jacket this winter for concealment.

As usual, Lightning Arms came through with prompt delivery, for only a small extra fee.

Did you look at the sig 229 SAS with 12 rounds?  I have thought of the 239 but it has only a 7 round clip.  Is there a big difference in size?

That SAS makes me drool.  :P I just wish it were available in 9mm. That with the R9 would be the perfect combo. 8)
