Redesigned P-3AT
« on: March 29, 2005, 08:37:23 AM »
I came across a few redesigned P-3ATs yesterday -- and one left with me.  I haven't shot it yet, so I can't give a range report at this point.  But, I thought members might be interested in a photo comparison.

I like some of the refinements such as an integrated recoil guiderod retainer, redesigned barrel including a moderate "smiley" mod to the feedramp, new sights, and a general "beefier" appearance without appreciable weight gain.

Not sure why some of the pics aren't showing -- so I added a direct link for each.

Fly - now these make the P3 look way better - seems to become a much more sophisticated gun!  Must say I'd like my very plain and boringly std one to become a bit better.

Those URL's ... the first and last two have an obvious syntax error ... either .j pg or .jp g ........ you have a space within the file extension - that'll stop them showing. The second link actually looks OK and as demonstrated by the one pic showing ... IS OK!!

Drop back in and edit - they should show then.

Strange -- when I open the edit and look at the text, the space isn't there.

I copied the links directly from photobucket and the space isn't there either... :-/

Hmmm odd.  Mind you - and I wonder whether Duane has noticed this at all - sometimes I go to edit and when submitted see no change!  Not until much later or if visible in the ''recent posts'' section.

This is despite refresh - because obviously caching can make things seem unchanged.

Anyways Fly - let me experiment here and try to post the self same image URL's for you.  If they don't work again then I am giving up!!
