Want to buy a Jim Powell (or similar) holster for the R9. I have one for my Seecamp 380, but decided after shooting it, that I prefer the Rohrbaugh. Now, I need something to hold it. I'm sure there are others just as good, but I know Jim's work, and it is great.
Thanks

Hey Atomix welcome to the forum.
Whenever I googled Jim Powell or In Plain Sight Holsters, the links I hit kept taking me to blank pages with some bs on it.
I tried quite a few, maybe I was chasing the rabbit down the wrong hole.
Hopefully someone more savy can come up with some results.
If not, I have a handful of Meco holsters and feel he represents the whole package:
quality
timely
excellant workmanship
priced fairly
knows Rohrbaughs

Thanks guys. I actually spoke with Jim today. You probably know, he had surgery earlier in the year and is not back in the shop just yet. He asked me to get with him in about a month.
I was hoping that maybe somebody had one of his holsters they would be willing to part with. I had him make a few for my Seecamps, and they are really nice. But, I've decided the Rohrbaugh will be my carry gun.
I'm not familiar with Meco holsters, but hear that they are great.

Good deal, I thought someone could find it.
When I was looking, something linked Jim to "In Plain Sight", I guess that's where I went wrong.
Glad you found him.

I really like my Meco, but it all depends on what type of holster you are looking for. I have a Powell wallet holster for my Seecamp that I also really like.

This is related to another thread but Jim Powell has an excellent looking IPS [in plain sight] holster available when he returns to work.
